Monlam is an annual event of collective aspiration for world peace and for the enlightenment of all beings. Communal prayers help overcome obstacles to peace and generate conditions for all beings to live in harmony.

Everyone is welcome! Please join us in welcoming Kyabje Kalu Rinpche and join our Guru as he reunites with the incarnation of his Guru to lead this auspicious prayer ceremony. This is an in-person event, and registration is required. (See link below)

There is no charge for the event, however there is cost involved and Ser Cho Ling will greatly appreciate any sincere contributions to support the event. We have limited accomodations onsite, and we must prioritize them for Ser Cho Ling members and special guests. We are close to Yosemite and rentals are plentiful in the area by searching Airbnb or Vrbo online. Kayak will take you to motels. We are 2 miles from the town of North Fork and about30 minutes from Oakhurst, our nearest city of any size. We are also close to Bass Lake which has many cabins for rent.
